On October 29, 2022, she was found dead in her hotel room while on vacation in Mexico with a group of friends. Initially thought to be alcohol poisoning, her family suspected foul play. No indictment has been made, and the quest for justice continues.
The documentary will examine the group of friends involved in the trip, their relationships with Shanquella, and the possible motives behind her death. It will highlight the difficulty in knowing who your real friends are and the various types of friends we encounter in life.Our investigation aims to shed light on the importance of understanding the complexities of friendship, and the need for trust and accountability in the face of tragedy.
